FAQ's

  • I offer services at a monthly flat rate so that budgeting is predictable for everyone, but also offer services at a fee-for-service level when available. Because of this, prices vary slightly.

For information about my fees and services, contact me to request a complete list of services and prices as part of the No Surprises Act.

  • No, I'm an out-of-network provider and don't bill insurance directly. However, I provide monthly superbills with all necessary codes that you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement. Many families receive 50-80% reimbursement depending on their plan's out-of-network benefits.

  • I primarily serve families in Seattle's Capitol Hill and Central District neighborhoods. Services are provided in your home, at your child's school (with permission), in the community, or virtually—wherever your child lives, learns, and plays.

  • I most commonly work with children and teens ages 4-20, with a special focus on neurodivergent kids including those with ADHD, autism, those with sensory processing differences, and executive functioning challenges. I love working with twice-exceptional students and their families.

You don't need a formal diagnosis to benefit from OT.

  • We schedule therapy on a quarterly basis with flexible make-up weeks built in at the end. This provides consistency while building in opportunities to reassess progress and offer the opportunity to take natural breaks for skill practice and preventing burnout. After getting started, you're billed monthly throughout the quarter.

  • Schedule a consultation today to ask questions and make sure Inside/Outside is the right fit your you. If you don't have any questions, and are ready to get scheduled for services right away, or if you prefer to just email us instead of scheduling a call email us at info@insideoutsideot.com.

  • No! In Washington State, you don't need a doctor's referral or prescription to start occupational therapy. You can reach out directly. (Note: Some insurance plans require a physician's order for reimbursement, so check your specific plan if you're hoping to submit for out-of-network benefits.)

  • Yes! I can attend IEP meetings, provide recommendations for accommodations, observe your child at school, collaborate with teachers, and coach you on advocating for your child's needs. School collaboration is an important part of supporting the whole child.

  • It depends. If your child was evaluated by an OT  for the same reasons you are currently seeking treatment within the past 6 months to a year, I may be able to initiate services without conducting my own evaluation. Please let me know if this is the case, and I can work with you to determine what makes the most sense.
